One Block Wonders - oh, how much fun are you! This one was started a bunch of years ago, and my new Bernina Q24 had absolutely no issues quilting this beauty. The glide foot managed any bumpy collections of seams without a hitch.
There are a few cubes here and there, I like them blending in. Filling out the hexie edges I've used a rich pumpkin colour fabric and an ombre purple fabric, to echo the light to dark progression.
The back is a fun "smoke" Robert Kaufmann "Rhoda Ruth" print. I've added the hanging sleeve from the original fabric.
This busy print would not show custom quilting, I used this swirly pantograph that comes with the Bernina QMatic, "Swirly Flower" by Amanda Murphy.
This quilt received Quilters Dream 70/30 batting.
